TMPC Lüneburg
For a noticeably better golf game
Your tour-level fitting experience.
Golf fitting at the highest level for every handicap. At the TaylorMade Performance Center Lüneburg (TMPC), you experience golf fitting at world-class level: precise, individual and measurable. Here, state-of-the-art technology, real tour experience and one of the largest performance centers in Europe come together.
Whether you are a beginner, want to stabilize your game or play at performance or tour level – our goal is to match your setup exactly to your swing, your body and your objectives. To achieve this, we consistently work data-based with TrackMan and Quintic and test where golf is actually played: on grass.
We primarily fit on our own ranges with around 250 sqm of grass surface. This creates real ball flight and impact data under authentic conditions. Only in poor weather conditions do we switch to mats. Because our principle is clear: realistic tests, clear decisions and a setup that truly works on the course.

So that your fitting at the TaylorMade Performance Center Lüneburg can unfold its full potential, there are a few things to know in advance. For a comprehensive analysis of your complete bag, you should plan sufficient time – less is required for individual club categories. We work both with your existing golf clubs and with new equipment that fits your game exactly. Therefore, please bring your current set completely. The fitting fee is independent of a possible club purchase – because the focus is always on an objective, honest analysis of your game.

Frequently asked questions about Golf fitting at TMPC Lüneburg.
How long does a golf fitting take?
The duration depends on the scope of the fitting. For a complete bag fitting, you should plan around 3 hours. For a partial fitting, for example only irons or wedges, 60–90 minutes are usually sufficient. We deliberately take the time to achieve a precise and meaningful result.
Which club parameters are customized during fitting?
During fitting, we view the club as a complete system. This includes, among other things, grip, shaft, club head as well as length, weight and balance. The goal is a setup that fits your swing, your body and your playing style optimally. (You can find the exact parameters further up on this page.)
Can I prepare for the fitting?
Yes – and it is even recommended. Play normal golf or practice on the range before your appointment so that your swing is “in flow.” Please bring all your current golf clubs and wear comfortable golf clothing and your golf shoes. No further preparation is necessary – your natural swing is the best foundation.
Can I bring my current clubs?
Absolutely. Your existing clubs are an important reference point in the fitting. We analyze what already works well and where there is potential for optimization – regardless of whether you want to replace your equipment or only improve it selectively.
Do I have to buy new clubs if I book a fitting?
No. The fitting fee is independent of a possible club purchase. Our goal is an objective, honest analysis. Whether and which new clubs make sense for you is entirely your decision.
Is a fitting also useful for beginners?
Yes, especially for beginners a fitting is very valuable. Properly fitted equipment makes learning easier, ensures cleaner ball contact and prevents incorrect movement patterns from becoming ingrained early on. Our fitting is suitable for all skill levels.
Do tour players also get fitted with you?
Yes. Players from the LET and DP World Tour have already been at TMPC Lüneburg, and tour players regularly work with us at the center. This exact experience and professionalism flows into every fitting for recreational and club golfers as well.
Does the fitting take place indoors or outdoors?
Both. We fit directly on the range under real conditions or weather-independent indoors in the simulator. Depending on weather, club category and objective, we combine both options optimally.
Will I receive documentation of my results?
Yes. All relevant fitting data and recommendations are documented so that you can clearly understand why certain settings or components were recommended.
What happens after the fitting?
After the fitting, we review all values again before a club is ordered. As soon as your equipment is delivered, a final manual quality control takes place in our own workshop to ensure that your club corresponds exactly to the determined fitting data.
Why do we work exclusively with TaylorMade?
We are convinced that good club fitting today requires one thing above all: depth instead of variety at any price. Instead of presenting many brands side by side, we have deliberately chosen to focus on one brand. This allows us to know the TaylorMade product line in detail – from club heads to shafts to meaningful combinations for different player types. Our goal is not to show as much selection as possible, but to find the one solution for each player that truly fits their game – clear, understandable and without compromise.
Do we have less selection by focusing on one brand?
No – on the contrary.
The selection within a modern product line today is very large and offers countless meaningful options for different swing types, skill levels and goals. What matters is not trying as much as possible, but specifically finding the combination within this variety that feels right on the course and works reliably. That is exactly what our fitting is designed for.
Why is grass fitting so important?
On mats, mistakes are often masked.
On grass, impact, angle of attack and turf interaction show honestly. Especially with irons and wedges, contact with the ground determines whether a club works long term or not.
That is why fitting on grass is a central component of our approach:
Fitting like you play.
Which technology do we use?
We work with TrackMan for precise ball and club data.
In addition, we use Quintic for detailed analysis of the putting stroke,
including impact, start line and roll behavior.
For wedge fitting, we deliberately complement the measurement data with real tests on the green and in the semi-rough to evaluate bounce and grind under authentic conditions.
Are hybrids a separate category?
No. Hybrids are considered part of the fairway woods
and are integrated accordingly into transitions and distance gapping.
Can I combine fittings or expand them later?
In principle, yes. However, it is more important to choose the right fitting from the start. Our goal is not for players to optimize each area individually, but for the bag to develop as a functioning overall system. As soon as multiple categories interact,
we deliberately recommend a more comprehensive fitting to properly coordinate transitions, distances and feel.
Do I have to buy clubs?
No. After the fitting, you will receive a concrete offer from us based on the recommendation. Whether and when you decide on it is entirely up to you. The fitting is independent of a purchase decision.
Which ball is used for fitting?
We fit with high-quality TaylorMade range balls that provide consistent and comparable measurement values. If you play a specific ball model, please let us know in advance. We will take this information into account during the evaluation.
Who is a fitting suitable for?
For every level of play. Beginners benefit from proper lengths, lie angles and a stable basic setup. Experienced players benefit from consistency, precise transitions, dispersion control and fine-tuning. In short: for anyone who wants to improve their game long term – not just the next shot.
